Clarification Announcement on Change of Auditor
Hong Kong (September 23, 2019) and Calgary, Alberta (September 23, 2019) - The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (the “Corporation” or “Sunshine”) (HKEX: 2012) wishes to announce:
CLARIFICATION
Reference was made to the announcement dated September 20, 2019 issued the Corporation in relation to, among other matters, the change of auditor of the Corporation. Unless defined otherwise, capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those herein.
The Board would like to clarify and emphasize that it is PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC Canada”) took the initiative to serve notice confirming the cessation of client-auditor relationship with the Corporation. The Corporation did not serve any termination notice to PwC Canada.
Save as the above mentioned, all other information as contained in the announcement dated September 20, 2019 remain unchanged.
