References were made to the announcements dated August 19, 2013, September 26, 2013, September 27, 2013, October 21, 2013, July 27, 2018, August 15, 2018, August 17, 2018 and August 23, 2018 issued by Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. in relation to, among other matters, the joint operating agreement and other supporting agreements entered into between the Corporation and Renergy Petroleum (Canada) Co., Ltd. with respect to the Corporation’s Muskwa and Godin area oil sands leases and the proposed amendments to the terms of the Agreements.

Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018.

Reference is made to the announcements of the Corporation dated August 5, 2014, August 8, 2014 and February 5, 2016 (all Hong Kong time) in relation to, among other things, the offering of USD200 million principal amount of senior secured notes.

The board of directors of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. announces that a meeting of the Board will be held on or about 8:30 p.m. Calgary time on Thursday, August 9, 2018 (on or about 10:30 a.m. Hong Kong time on Friday, August 10, 2018) for the purposes of, amongst other matters, approving the interim results and report of the Company and its subsidiaries for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2018 and their publications.

The Board of Directors of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. is pleased to announce that on July 27, 2018, it has unanimously resolved to appoint (i) Mr. Henry DeLong Miao as Sunshine’s Chief Operating Officer and (ii) Mr. Frank Chi Man Ng as Chief Technology Officer.

The Board is pleased to announce that all conditions of the Settlement Agreement have been fulfilled and the Completion took place on July 16, 2018.

On July 6, 2018 in Hong Kong (July 6, 2018 in Calgary), the Corporation entered into Settlement Agreement with the Trade Creditor, being an Independent Third Party and a trade creditor to the Corporation, pursuant to which the Corporation will allot and issue the Relevant Shares to the Trade Creditor as full and final settlement of the Partial Trade Payable.
